Are you ready for the greatest party ever in your mouth??
Yes I went there.

I first tried this funfetti dip at my girlfriend’s Stella and Dot jewelry party and we literally couldn’t stop eating it!  I immediately thought that I had killed my diet since this tasted just like I was licking cake batter directly out of the bowl, but au contraire my friends!  This is actually really low in fat and calories and is the perfect go-to sweet treat when you’re craving those chocolate chip cookies or that yummy slice of cake.

And don’t even get me started on how easy this is to make. Here, allow me to show you.

Dip

That’s it!  Just 3 simple ingredients and you’ve got yourself one hell of a dip!  Pair this with fat-free animal crackers and let your inner fat kid go to town (just don’t let them know it’s the skinny version).

Hey, I made this over the weekend. I was only able to find a slightly smaller box of the funfetti cake mix. So, I used 1 & 3/4 cups of yogurt. Still, it’s a bit tart. Should I add less yogurt next time? The cake box was only off by a few ounces. Thanks.

    1. Kelly says:

Make sure to use regular yogurt rather than Greek yogurt as Greek yogurt tends to have more of a tart flavor. My favorite is Dannon vanilla yogurt for this particular recipe! 🙂

  2. Gina says:

I see a few comments of people asking if it can be frozen. I have the same question. I’m thinking it can be—bakery and cool whip can both be frozen, I believe yogurt can as well, although I haven’t tried.
IF anyone has tried with this recipe let us know! 🙂

    1. Kelly says:

Yes this freezes really well actually! 🙂

This is one of my favorite dips! I love it with apples (or a spoon!). Do you have updated information regarding WW SmartPoint values for the recipe? Thanks so much!

    1. Kelly says:

Absolutely! I’m going to try and go through and update all my recipes! 🙂

    Kelly,
Can I use the Confetti Angel food cake mix instead of the regular confetti cake mix? It has 0 grams of fat perserving compared to the other mix. Do you think this would affect the dip consistency? Taste? Thanks!

Is the cool whip frozen or thawed?? Looks great.

    1. Kelly says:

      It’s thawed! 🙂

This is absolutely delicious! I am wondering if the nutritional information and weight watchers points change if you use nonfat greek yougurt rather than regular yogurt and fat free cool whip. (Had to use lite this time my store was out of fat free, but will use fat free in the future)
