Hi Kelly. Love this post. You mentioned the panko was bland in colour. I have come across this as well. You may want to try toasting it in a dry pan in advance to brown slightly before coating or topping things. I do this with Mac and Cheese and it works well and gives better contrast in photos!!
Even if they blend in…they still look delicious!!!
My sister will LOVE these! I wonder how it will turn out will fresh mozzarella?? ( ciligene)
These look waaaaaay too good to only eat three! Yum, yum, yum!
Nice to have a healthy version of mozzarella sticks, which are one of my favorite bad-for-you snacks and which I miss very much here in France! The photos look just fine, I think. Thanks for sharing!
Just found your blog through Cajunlicious and I love it! I’m trying to lose weight and this is going to be great for healthy ideas. I’ll have to try these soon =)

Fun and delicious!!!
The bites looks great. It makes a perfect snack when you are craving something cheesy.
Mozzarella sticks are my favorite appetizer! I love nibbling on some while waiting for the main dish. Yours turned out so great!
I had a really hard time getting the Panko to stick to the cheese. Don’t know if it was the whole wheat Panko or just my breading ineptitude. They still came out delicious, just not terribly attractive! 🙂
